Yet another Macbook repair @shrop.rock.doctor.
Sons Macbook Pro required a battery change. Would be a super simple job if the battery cells were not attached to the chassis with double sided tape.
Used a length of PET 3mm braid as a cheese wire to release the cells from their bonds. Solvent on a cloth cleaned of the residue. Replacement was an OEM part so absolutely no issues with reassembly.
