This VOX combo came in with an issue that presented as noise audible through the speaker but was affected by the slightest vibration of the cabinet or chassis. Fault was finally diagnosed visually as a failed solder joint on the leg of an electrolytic capacitor on the preamp board. Reflowed solder & fault disappeared only to reveal that now the amplifier worked correctly the speaker was damaged. Plugging in an external 8ohm cabinet resulted in perfect output. Now for a speaker replacement ðŸ˜
