This Moog ‘Voyager Old School ‘ has been in storage for about 10 years. The keys were not functioning although everything else appeared to be working fine.
Removing the rear cover from the control panel revealed hidden in the lower right corner, the ribbon cable that connects the expression wheel board to the main control panel was disconnected. The control panel on these is hinged to allow movement to the required position & in my opinion the interconnecting ribbon is too short so excessive movement of the panel can pull the plug out.
Not going to try securing the plug as I think it is better it pulls out than pull the socket off the board.
A longer cable is the best solution.
