The Sennheiser XSW mic came in for attention to output. Root cause was found to be the capsule. Just to confirm functionality of the wireless system I have just hooked up the hand piece with the capsule wires disconnected to a Sure SM58 just Croc clipped to the XLR & everything else appears to be working fine.
The online search for a replacement Sennheiser capsule has so far been fruitless as it appears the availability of a capsule with pins as opposed to the readily available screw on type is zero.
Don’t quite understand why this mic has a different fitting when Sennheiser are selling replacement E835 capsules for this model but only with screw fit interfacing. 😔
