Stratocaster in @shrop.rock.doctor for tone control modification. As delivered the audible tone adjustment sat within about a 20% segment of pot rotation & full cut left a very dark & muddy tone.
The all or nothing adjustment was the usual issue of incorrect potentiometer so the B250k was changed for a CTS A250k. The installed capacitor was a 220nf so this was replaced with a 22nf.
The guitar now has a much more paletable tonal range that is adjustable throughout the full sweep of the pot rotation.
