@shroprockdoctor today we have Gretsch Setzer signature model number two belonging to Mr McCreadie.
This guitar unlike its partner in last week does have a decent nut installed. Brief is to clean up the frets & again investigate tuning instability when using the Bigsby.
My thoughts on this issue after speaking to Dean as it appears that the affected strings are the middle two D & G & is directly a result of the angle that this pair of strings exit the rear of the nut towards the machine heads. The break angle is reasonably sharp & would explain the inability of these two strings to return to correct tension after tremolo use.
