On the bench today @shroprockdoctor is the second amplifier brought in by Mr Southwell of Vicious Nature.
The Engl Power all is his amplifier of choice these days & this one has lost output. The Powerball has a front panel group of LEDs which indicate power tube failure but non of these are illuminated. Low level hum through speaker. Pulled chassis & removed tubes for a better look. There is an unusually large dent in the 220uf electrolytic, don’t like that.
Pcb exhibits signs of previous work.
