Nearing completion of Eds @electriccircusuk stage guitar that came into @shroprockdoctor for a service & refret to stainless Steel 2.9mm frets. An additional request was to implement a more permanent solution as to the protection of the autograph of Wasp guitarist Mr Chris Holmes.
After removing Eds taped on temporary cover I have fashioned a new clear 2mm acrylic window which after carefully removing all the sticky tape residue with cotton buds & a solvent cleaner I have used a continuous bead of clear silicone sealant to hermetically seal in the prized signature.
