Hanging on the stairs @shroprockdoctor for a while now is Mr McCreadie’s Epiphone Les Paul which had a headstock repair & a new set of stainless steel frets installed & then continued to hang around while awaiting a complete set of new components to replace the overly corroded original gold hardware.
Today a pair of Probuckers by Epiphone & their pre-wired harness /controls was installed. What should be a simple screw them in plug them in install was far from it. To install the wiring through the holes between cavities required removal of the pre-fitted plugs. PIA.
Finally I found the hole centres of the new pickup surrounds were different to the originals so had to plug & redrill the holes.
All done now & it’s time to finish cutting the new bone nut.
