Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster FMT HSS Trans Amber @shroprockdoctor is now fully functioning.
New volume potentiometer with integrated switches (Fenders so called S1) is now installed & control cavity completely rewired. The 5 way selector used in conjunction with the S1 button allows selection of ten tones through various additional pickup combinations beyond the usual five for a HSS setup.
Thankfully Fenders website provides the wiring diagram although obtaining the replacement switched pot was not straight forward in the UK.
Thanks to Rich Tone Music Sheffield for ordering from Fender Europe (who apparently had 4 pieces in stock).
At nearly £40 with delivery they probably don’t sell too many 🤣.
