Boss DS2 Turbo Distortion in @shroprockdoctor for a power issue suspected to be related to the 2.1mm DC power socket.
Nothing found to be visually wrong with the removed socket other than oxidation of the pin & contact but replaced it with a brand new socket anyway. While dismantled all audio sockets & remote control socket plus switches were treated to a clean with switch cleaner.
Powered up on the bench power supply & all controls & audio tested OK.
