Beginning the cleanup & service of the Westone Thunder 1A.
Two 9v pp3 batteries power the active electronics in this bass & both are depleted so will explain the owners description of non functionality.
Brief was to leave stickers in place so just polished up the paintwork around them. Cleaned up the brass hardware, polished up the frets & treated the rosewood to some oil.
Tightened all nuts on pots and Jack socket.
Awaiting delivery of the Super Slinky strings & I have run out of 9v batteries so need to order those too.
