A visit @shrop.rock.doctor from Mr Edwards of @electriccircusuk to sort a tuning stability issue on one of his Charvel guitars. These are tuned half a step down & strung with a standard set of 9s. This guitar relies heavily on the Floyd Rose being perfectly balanced. The combination of light strings drop tuned on a Floyd tremolo & jumbo frets demand a precise touch of the player to keep it sounding in tune.
A new set of strings, tweek of the tremolo claw screws & slight tweek of the low string saddle for intonation & she’s now sounding OK.
