Meridian guitar amplifier @shrop.rock.doctor for input socket repair. At some point the retaining nut from the front socket has been lost so all the stresses of plugging & unplugging were transferred to the board pins, eventually resulting in failure of the soldering.
Due to the fact that this manufacturer has used a socket which would not accept the nut from any of the replacement sockets I have in stock the whole socket had to be replaced so the board required removal which wouldn’t come out unless the power transformer was removed 😭😭. Unbelievable, who designs these things?
