Someone asked me the other day how I was going to fish the new potentiometer into place on this Gretsch hollow body.
Well, like this using a length of surgical tubing.
The soft tubing can be fished though the F hole with needle nose pliers & then stretched over the shaft of the pot. Wiggle the pot through the F hole & pull it into location.
That’s the broken CTS pot in my image, still awaiting delivery of the new Bourns audio taper that’s replacing it.
